Delhi / Jaipur
Today drive to the colourful city of Jaipur the state
capital of Rajasthan that owes its name, foundation and
planning to Maharaja Jai Singh II who founded the city
in 1727. Overnight at hotel. |

| Day 04 :- |
|
Jaipur
Morning drive out to the hills beyond the city and
ascend by painted elephant to the magnificent
fortress-palace at Amber. Later visit the Hawa Mahal,
City Palace and the nearby Jantar Mantar observatory.

| Day 05 :- |
|
Jaipur / Ranthambhore
We drive to Ranthambhore today. The project Tiger
Reserve at Ranthambore is situated at the junction of
the Aravali and Vindhyas hills, 160kms south east of
Jaipur. The blend between nature and history is strong
at Ranthambhore and the 13th century fort is the focal
point of the park. The reserve supports a mixed range of
birds, mammals and insects. Sambar and Chital are common
throughout the park and are found in large
concentrations near the lakes. Before dusk visit the
reserve by jeep. Stay for two nights at your Hotel. |

Ranthambhore

| Day 07 :- |

Ranthambhore / Bharatpur
Continue by car to Bharatpur which is considered to be
one of the leading bird sanctuaries in the world.
Consisting of 29Kms of fresh water swamp the reserve was
originally developed by the Maharaja of Bharatpur for
this famous duck shoots. Visit the reserve at dusk with
our local naturalist. Overnight stay at your hotel. |

| Day 08 :- |

Bharatpur
Early morning and evening viewing at Bharatpur. During
the day visit nearby deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri,
India’s “Pompeii” once a glittering imperial capital,
later mysteriously abandoned. Today you’ll see the
remarkably well preserved building and red sandstone
palaces. Overnight at hotel. |

| Day 09 :- |

Bharatpur / Agra
After breakfast drive to Agra, 56kms from Bharatpur.
Later today visit the city to see the Taj Mahal and Agra
Fort noted for its fine views of the Taj from across the
Yamuna River. Stay overnight at your hotel. |

| Day 10 :- |
|
Agra / Khajuraho
Today join the express train to Jhansi and thereon
continue by car to Khajuraho. Arrive and check-in into
your hotel. This afternoon we visit the Eastern and
Western group of temples where forthright sculptures
celebrate the joy of life and love for which there is
probably no equivalent in the world. Overnight at Hotel. |

Khajuraho / Bandhavgarh
After breakfast continue by car to the Vidhayan mountain
range of central India. Dominated by a 14th century for
this reserve harbours the highest density of tiger of
any Indian park. Visit the reserve before dusk by jeep.
Stay for three nights at the excellent Tented Jungle
Camp. |

Bandhavgarh / Kanha
An interesting, but bumpy drive, south through Kipling
country to Kanha National Park which is said to be one
of the finest National Parks in Asia. Kanha is home to
tiger, bison, leopard and the Indian swamp Deer. Visit
the reserve before dusk by jeep. Stay for two nights. |

Early morning and evening viewing in Kanha by jeep
and/or elephant back safari. |

| Day 16 :- |
|
Kanha / Delhi
Leave this morning by car for Nagpur to join your flight
later today to Delhi. Arrive and transfer to your hotel
for overnight. |

Delhi / Overseas
Today transfer to international airport to board your
flight for onward destination. |
