Arrive in Delhi, the capital city of India and transfer
to hotel for overnight. |

Delhi
Morning tour of New Delhi begins with a visit of the
grateful mausoleum of the Moghul Emperor Humayun.
Continue to the 13th century Qutab Minar, a dramatic 234
foot high fluted minaret. Proceed along the majestic
promenade past the imposing India Gate War memorial,
Secretariat Buildings, Parliament House and Raj Bhavan,
official residence of the President. Discover Old Delhi
this afternoon with a visit of Raj Ghat, the tranquil
final resting place of Mahatma Gandhi. Then, view the
massive walls and ramparts of the magnificent Red Fort,
symbol of Moghul Power and elegance. On to the 17
century Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque, the gateway
to Chandni Chowk, the bustling and colourful marketplace
of the Old City. Overnight at hotel. |

Delhi/Udaipur
Morning transfer to domestic airport to board the flight
for Udaipur.

Afternoon sightseeing tour the “City of Lakes,” known as
one of the most picturesque and romantic cities of
India. Visit City Palace, Saheliyon ki Bari or Garden of
Maids; and the folklore museum where you can see a
presentation of the string puppet show typical to this
area. Overnight at hotel. |

Excursion to Ranakpur
Ranakhpur Jain temple complex, one of India’s most
important Jain temples. Built in 1439, this huge Jain
temple complex is supported by 1444 pillars, no two of
which are alike. We return to Udaipur by evening for
overnight. |

Udaipur / Jaipur
Early morning transfer to airport to board your flight
to Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan, also known as
the “Pink City.” Jaipur gained its colourful name after
its buildings were painted pink for the visit of Prince
Albert in 1876.

afternoon visit the Hawa Mahal or “Palace of Winds,”

Jaipur/ Ranthambore
Morning excursion to Amber Fort - You are transported
back in time today, riding like royalty atop elegantly
draped and painted elephants, up into the high mountain
fortress of Amber. A complex of palaces, temples, mirror
inlaid public halls, this is an exquisite example of
Rajput architecture.
Afternoon drive to Ranthambore - The project Tiger
Reserve at Ranthambore is situated at the junction of
the Aravali and Vindhyas hills, 160kms south east of
Jaipur. The blend between nature and history is strong
at Ranthambhore and the 13th century fort is the focal
point of the park. The reserve supports a mixed range of
birds, mammals and insects. Sambar and Chital are common
throughout the park and are found in large
concentrations near the lakes. Before dusk visit the
reserve by jeep. Stay for two nights at your Hotel. |

Ranthambhore / Fatehpur Sikri/ Agra
Enroute to Agra today, explore the deserted city of
Fatehpur Sikri, India’s “Pompeii” once a glittering
imperial capital, later mysteriously abandoned. Today
you’ll see the remarkably well preserved building and
red sandstone palaces. Arrive in Agra, home of the
legendary shrine to “love” The Taj Mahal. Check-in &
hotel. Later today visit the city to see the Taj Mahal
and Agra Fort noted for its fine views of the Taj from
across the Yamuna River. Overnight at hotel. |
